With Game 3 of the NBA Finals still up for grabs, Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry did one of the things he is best at – hustle for a loose ball. The scrappy guard ended up crashing into the front row of fans, knocking them over in the process. As Lowry attempted to remove himself from the fray, a man wearing a blue shirt reached over and gave Lowry a shove.

The Raptors guard didn't take kindly to the shove and immediately gesticulated wildly to the nearest referee. While the ref did nothing at the time, the fan was later escorted from the stadium. The punishment wasn't good enough for Lowry. In his postgame interview, he claimed that he wanted the fan banned from NBA games.

The NBA has been working overtime to smooth over fan-player reactions courtside. Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook has been in several confrontations with fans who have directed vulgar and racist language towards him.

While Lowry didn't say the fan said anything racist towards him, he did say he cursed at him. If this is true, the language in addition to the shove will probably mean the fan won't be sitting courtside at any more Warriors games.

All the NBA can do is investigate and see if the fan will indeed get banned. The league has a duty to protect its players, and if they deem the action of the fan as over the top, they have every right to make sure he's no longer in the front row in the biggest series of the year.
