The Toronto Raptors host the San Antonio Spurs on Friday, which means we get to see Marc Gasol face off against his older brother Pau Gasol.
The Gasol brothers are at different stages of their careers right now.
Marc, whom the Raptors acquired at the trade deadline from the Memphis Grizzlies, is expected to be a key figure for a Toronto team that is looking to make the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.
Pau, meanwhile, is on the tail end of his Hall of Fame career. The six-time All-Star and two-time NBA champion is only playing roughly 12 minutes per game this season for San Antonio.
If Pau gets some meaningful minutes on Friday, Marc is excited to play against the guy he looked up to his entire life.
In 56 games this season with the Raptors and Grizzlies, Marc Gasol is averaging 15.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists while shooting 44.6 percent from the field, 34.7 percent from beyond the arc and 75.1 percent from the free-throw line. Friday will be Marc's fourth game with Toronto.
Pau Gasol, meanwhile, is putting up 4.4. points and 4.7 rebounds for the Spurs while shooting 47.7 percent overall and 50.0 percent from the 3-point line.
