Raptors star Pascal Siakam seemingly dealing with left elbow issues after Game 1 vs. Bucks
Pascal Siakam and the Toronto Raptors looked great throughout the majority of Game 1 of their Eastern Conference Finals series against the Milwaukee Bucks. Unfortunately, they ended up losing the game by a final score of 108-100. The Raptors simply could not contend with the Bucks’ defense and their late-game scoring run.
Following the game, the young Raptors’ star may have been signaling a concerning issue. John Schuhmann of NBA.com noted that Siakam was dealing with apparent left elbow issues and that it had been wrapped at halftime and following the team’s Game 1 loss.
Pascal Siakam seems to have some sort of issue w/ his left elbow. Had it wrapped at halftime & again after the game. Doesn’t look swollen, though.

While it is only speculation and no official word has come from Siakam or the Raptors, this is certainly something to keep an eye on. Even though it is his left elbow and he is right-handed, elbow injuries can be a major problem for players.
Siakam did not play terribly well in Game 1 against the Bucks. He scored 15 points to go along with six rebounds and three assists. The bad side of those numbers was the fact that he shot just 6-for-20 from the field overall and 2-for-9 from the three-point line.
Those numbers are not going to get the job done in this series. Toronto is dealing with a high-powered Milwaukee offense that boasts Giannis Antetokounmpo, Brook Lopez, and Khris Middleton taking center stage.
Hopefully, this is simply a precaution and Siakam doesn’t actually have anything wrong with his elbow. If he does, however, it could end up impacting him and the way the series turns out.
