The Toronto Raptors are surging after winning their seventh straight game on Wednesday night. The Raptors dealt a heavy beating to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 117-98 to improve to 30-23.

Pascal Siakam set the tone early for the Raptors, scoring 15 points on 7-of-8 shooting in the first nine minutes of the game. He did not let up the rest of the way, finishing with a huge double-double of 27 points, 16 rebounds, and five assists.

According to StatMuse, the star forward tallied his ninth 20-10-5 outing of the season, surpassing Raptors legend Chris Bosh for most in team history.

Siakam has been balling as of late, even earning Player of the Week honors after towing the Raptors to an unbeaten stretch so far. Many feel he was snubbed in the NBA All-Star Game, and it appears he didn't take it lightly.

Siakam, a former Most Improved Player of the Year winner, missed several weeks when the season began after undergoing surgery for his left shoulder. The Raptors stumbled out of the gates, struggling to maintain a winning record. But since Siakam's return, the team has slowly found its footing, with first-time All-Star Fred VanVleet and the much-improved OG Anunoby putting up consistent numbers as well.

Moving past Bosh is no easy feat, considering he was the Raptors' main man for so long. But Siakam continues to show that he firmly belongs in the squad's annals as well.
