The mother of Toronto Raptors star forward Kawhi Leonard clearly wasn't willing to back down from an argument with a San Antonio Spurs fan during Thursday night's game between the two teams.

Leonard made his return trip to AT&T Center, which naturally led to quite a contentious atmosphere given how the situation unfolded between the two sides.

It was the Spurs that were able to get the upper hand on the scoreboard, as they jumped out to a 38-19 lead after the first quarter before securing the 125-107 win to capture their third straight win.

However, with emotions running wild, Leonard's mother decided to let her thoughts be known to at least one Spurs fan.

Leonard led the way by finishing with 21 points and five assists while going 8-of-13 from the floor and 5-of-7 from the free-throw line.

The Raptors were no match for the Spurs from start to finish with DeMar DeRozan playing like a man possessed and notching his first career triple-double in the win. San Antonio kept Toronto at bay with their outside shooting, as the Raptors went just 6-of-30 from beyond the arc while Gregg Popovich's group hit 13-of-27 attempts from long range.

Naturally, with such an high-energy atmosphere in Leonard's return, the Spurs were able to feed off of that and put together one of their best performances of the season.

Toronto still sits at 28-12 overall, so this loss doesn't mean a ton in the grand scheme of things.

Even if Leonard would have loved to pick up the victory against this former team.

Next up for the Raptors is a road trip to take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night.
