Toronto Raptors All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry made a serendipitous long-range shot against the Washington Wizards on Friday night in the two team's matchup.

A stumbling look at the hoop off his back leg coming around a screen set by Serge Ibaka saw the 33-year-old floor general hurl up what looked to be initially a pass fall perfectly in the basket. It appeared that Kyle Lowry was waiting for a foul to be called by the officials but instead benefited for a deep 3-pointer halfway through the second quarter of the contest.

An NBA champion with the Canadian franchise last year, Lowry is averaging 20.5 points and 7.8 assists per game with a depleted Raptors squad hobbled with injuries and not missing a beat despite the departure of superstar Kawhi Leonard. Tonight's home tilt with the Wizards should be the final game without guard Fred VanVleet in the lineup, as he's due to return to the court on Saturday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
