Throughout his illustrious playing career, Rasheed Wallace became well-known for several catchphrases that have since become iconic and part of the NBA lexicon. There is of course Wallace's infamous “Ball don't lie” catchphrase but him repeatedly saying “Both teams play hard” after a playoff loss, is also quite memorable.
Taking a page from Wallace, DeMarcus Cousins was asked on Thursday about New Orleans' upcoming matchup against his former team the Sacramento Kings on Friday and the Pelicans big man answered each question with essentially the same answer:
Now maybe “play hard and get a win,” doesn't have the same type of ring as “both teams play hard,” but it is still a delightful and humorous way to answer questions about your former team. And to his credit, Cousins did eventually give a good answer, so it was all in good fun anyway.
