Lamar Jackson, Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens posted an impressive 14-2 record in 2019 and some people believe they could be even better in 2020. According to multiple oddsmakers and analysts, the Ravens are favored to win all 16 of their regular-season games in 2020.

At this time a year ago, there were a few unknowns for Baltimore entering the 2019 season. Could Lamar Jackson be the team’s franchise quarterback? Would Earl Thomas be able to bounce back after a season-ending injury with the Seattle Seahawks in 2018?

Fast forward to now and the Ravens face lofty expectations after Jackson won the NFL’s MVP award. Not to mention, Baltimore was the No. 1 seed in the AFC a season ago. However, despite being the top seed in the AFC, they would be outed in the AFC Divisional Round by the Tennessee Titans.

Nevertheless, there is speculation that the Ravens could be the next team to finish with a 16-0 record. Heading into next season, Baltimore’s schedule is definitely a favorable one.

Altogether, the teams that the Ravens will face in 2020 had a combined winning percentage of just .438 in 2019 (worst in the NFL) On the other hand, Baltimore plays outside the Eastern time zone just once.

With that being said, according to Caesar Sportsbooks, Baltimore’s two toughest opponents are the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. Despite their bout against the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Ravens are favored to beat the Chiefs and the Eagles by -2.5.

“We have the Ravens and Chiefs pretty much dead even on a neutral field,” said Jeff Davis, the director of trading at Caesars Sportsbook.

There’s no doubt that the Ravens boast one of the most well-rounded rosters in the NFL. In light of that, some people believe Baltimore can create history in 2020.
