Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant was set to take on his former team for the first time on Tuesday evening, as the Baltimore Ravens recently picked him up after a lengthy stint on the sidelines due to injury.

However, Bryant's plans to get some revenge against the Cowboys were immediately foiled after the veteran pass-catcher was forced out from the primetime contest due to a late COVID-19 positive test.

Bryant tested positive right before kickoff, but he was on the field for warm-ups before getting pulled off the gridiron in Baltimore.

Understandably frustrated for a variety of different reasons, Bryant immediately took to Twitter to express his thoughts. While it remains to be seen as to whether or not the former Cowboys standout and current Ravens wide receiver is speaking truthfully, it is entirely possible that Bryant's 2020-21 campaign has officially come to a close.

On the other hand, Bryant then began tweeting much more light-heartedly about wine and his non-football business ventures.

Following his lengthy stint as a member of the once heralded Cowboys, Bryant took some time to find his next NFL home and eventually landed with the New Orleans Saints a few seasons back.

However, his time with the Saints was quite brief after he almost immediately tore his Achilles before he could even see game action as a member of the NFC South organization. After coming back from the significant lower-leg injury, Dez Bryant latched on with the Ravens and returned to the fold earlier this 2020.
