Earl Thomas was sent home after being involved in an altercation with Baltimore Ravens teammate, Chuck Clark. While the scuffle between the two has made headlines, Thomas reacted to him being sent home by the team, per ESPN's Jamison Hensley.

The events of the scrap between Thomas and Clark were reportedly incited by Thomas making a mental error during a play. And Thomas confirms that with his Instagram post, saying his aggression led to them getting into a fight.

As a result of Thomas throwing a punch, John Harbaugh sent the veteran safety home. Following the news of Thomas' exodus from training camp, there are rumors that the Ravens could part ways with him.

Of course, that could just be people making assumptions on the situation. Or there is more going on behind the scenes with Thomas than Baltimore wants to lead on. Regardless, it will be worth monitoring Thomas' situation with the Ravens moving forward.

In his first season in Baltimore, Thomas tallied 49 combined tackles, four pass breakups, and two interceptions. The former Seattle Seahawks star also became a leader in the locker room for the Ravens. However, he may need to earn some trust back from his teammates after his latest incident.

Earlier this offseason, Thomas was involved in a peculiar situation with his brother. Thomas was reportedly found laying with other women by his wife. While it remains to be seen what the Ravens plan on doing with him, Thomas is attempting to clear the air with fans.
