Gerald McCoy's visit with the Baltimore Ravens is spilling over to Wednesday morning according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN. McCoy arrived at the Ravens team facility on Tuesday afternoon and left early in the evening to have dinner with the coaches and players.

Josiana Anderson had said on Tuesday night that the visit was going well and some in the organization are hoping he doesn't leave town without a deal in place.

McCoy also visited with the Cleveland Browns last week and many expected that he would sign a deal with them, but he left town without a deal. McCoy is still in contact with the Browns and many in the Browns organization still hope they will have a chance to get a deal down.

Once place that the Browns have an advantage is in salary cap space. The Ravens have $13.8 million in cap space while the Browns have over $33 million in cap space.

The thought is that McCoy will take a discount to play for a contender so maybe the cap space issue won't come into play.

The Ravens also added Earl Thomas this offseason and if McCoy joins the fold, there is no doubt this defense is going to be strong.

With the team hoping that Lamar Jackson will take steps forward there are some real expectations around this team. This is a developing story and we should have a better answer when McCoy leaves the facility, and if he has a contract in hand or not. Ravens fans are rooting for the contract, while the Browns and other teams around the league are still hoping they have a shot.
