Fox Sports talk-show host Jason Whitlock is not pulling any punches when it comes to Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

The rookie signal-caller did not exactly have a great performance in the Ravens' Wild Card Round loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, and Whitlock thinks he is to blame for the defeat:

In the loss, Jackson completed 14 of his 29 passes for 194 yards, two touchdowns and an interception while being sacked seven times and fumbling three times.

That stat-line actually does not even really begin to tell the story of just how poorly Jackson played, as he went nearly three hours of real time without completing a pass at one point and entered the fourth quarter with less than 40 yards through the air.

Over seven starts on the year, the 21-year-old threw for 1,201 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions while completing 58.2 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 84.5. So, as a passer, Jackson has much to learn.

As a runner, however, Jackson sent defenses scrambling all year, racking up 695 yards and five touchdowns while averaging 4.7 yards per carry.

Jackson took over as the Ravens' starting quarterback in Week 11 after long-time signal-caller Joe Flacco went down with a hip injury. However, even when Flacco got healthy, Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh stuck with the rookie, and the Ravens ended up going 6-1 with Jackson under center.

Hopefully, the kid works on his passing game during the offseason, as that would make him a much bigger threat to defenses.
