The Baltimore Ravens' quarterback situation was immediately put on the map after the team moved into the 32nd overall pick to take former Louisville standout, Lamar Jackson. It has brought questions in terms of what the team's plans will be at the position with a promising talent now in the fold.

The Ravens have quickly made it known that they plan to utilize Jackson in multiple ways to best use his unique attributes to the team's benefit on the field in the 2018 NFL season. With that in mind, the 21-year-old has voiced that he is completely fine with whatever Baltimore decides to do with him because the team sees him as a quarterback, according to Ryan Mink of Baltimoreravens.com.

But asked for his thoughts on some of the coaches’ first ideas on how to use him differently, Jackson said, “It’s pretty cool to me.”

“They want me on the field to utilize my talent and be a quarterback,” Jackson said. “So, it’s cool with me.”

Jackson has proven at the collegiate level to be a special talent that can impact the game effectively with both his arm and legs. This is something that the Ravens will likely look to maximize at the next level given that he brings a different element to the table.

There is no clarity in terms of how much playing time he will get on the field, but Baltimore looks to be set to make an integral part of the offensive game plan. This could also provide the team will more of an answer on if he could be the next quarterback of the future after the team moves on from Joe Flacco.

It is a special opportunity for Jackson to make a strong impression on the organization while showing that he deserves to be a long-term part of the franchise in a larger capacity down the road.
