The Baltimore Ravens were the best team in the entire NFL during the 2019 regular season. That is not hyperbole either, they went 14-2, it was the best record in the league.

However, the magic faltered in the postseason. Baltimore had a bye week in the first round, but in the divisional round found themselves taking an immediate exit courtesy of the Tennessee Titans. It was a very disappointing end to an incredible season. But it was also a wake up call. While this is a great team with a lot going for it, improvements are still needed.

The passing offense in 2019 was incredible. It was led by MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson, who threw 36 touchdown passes to go along with over 1,000 rushing yards.

However, he managed barely 3,000 passing yards. And an argument could be made that while the weapons are young and exciting, they could use a veteran star in that area.

And that's where Antonio Brown might come in to play. Brown has been one of the best receivers in football over the past few seasons. He's had plenty of off-field issues though. Issues that led to him playing in just one game in 2019, while bouncing around a few teams.

Now he's already suspended for eight games in 2020. But he's also still a free agent and a receiver whose talents could absolutely help any team out there.

What could Antonio Brown bring to the Ravens? Would it be helpful, or ultimately hurt the team? Young wide receiver Marquise Brown (yes, they are cousins), touched on the subject. According to Aaron Kasinitz of Pennlive.com, Brown believes his cousin could “fit in” to the locker room in Baltimore.

“AB, he’s a guy that’s going to bring the best out of you,” Marquise Brown said, via PennLive.com. “I feel like he could fit in this locker room. He’s a guy that’s competitive. He’s going to go out there and give 100 percent, and seeing stuff like that is going to make other guys want to do the same.”

There will obviously be the people saying that the current Baltimore wide receiver is simply vouching for his cousin. However, everything he said is the truth.

It is pretty obvious that Antonio Brown is a very competitive player. He definitely wants to win whenever he's on a team. He also has shown in the past that he is willing to leave it all out on the field.

Baltimore looks ready to compete for a Super Bowl. But they might be missing that one veteran piece that puts it all together. Could Brown be the answer? His cousin certainly seems to think so.
