Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson used his legs on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals and it was the reason they won but after the game Bengals coach Marvin Lewis questioned just how long he will last in the NFL using his legs so much.

“Quarterbacks don't run forever in the NFL,” Lewis said after the 24-21 loss in Baltimore via ESPN. “Sooner or later, they get hurt, and they don't run the same. But, today, he could run, and he did a good job.”

Jackson got the first start of his young career and ran the ball 27 times which is five more attempts than any other quarterback since 1960. In Sunday's game Jackson didn't take any hard hits, but earlier in the season he took some hard hits that some were concerned about.

It seems like most of the running quarterbacks that have relied on their legs, including RG3 and Michael Vick have suffered at least one bad injury in their career because of their running.

After the game, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said he doesn't think that Jackson will run that many times going forward.

“I think that's what Lamar felt that it took today,” Harbaugh said. “I don't believe it's going to take that many carries every week. It's not what we're going to be shooting for, by any stretch. But, if it takes that many, Lamar will do it. But, no, he took some hits. I think they knew the quarterback was going to run the ball. They were going after him a little bit, as you would expect. That's something that we have to look at going forward.”
