For a defensive back, having ‘sweet feet’ can be pretty helpful while trying to cover the best wide receivers in the game. Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman is one of the better defensive backs in the league—so, he must have some pretty ‘sweet feet,’ right?

How sweet will soon be put to the test, but on the dance floor and not the gridiron. Norman is going to be part of the next season of ABC's Dancing With The Stars.

In the past, athletes and especially football players have fared well on the show. But this time, the cast is going to be made up entirely of athletes. If he wants to win, Norman will have to take down an impressive slate of athletes.

Among them will be NBA legend Kareem Abul-Jabbar, Notre Dame’s Arike Ogunbowale and MLB star Johnny Damon. The Olympics will be well represented by figure skaters Adam Rippon and Mirai Nagasu, and softball player Jennie Finch. Snowboarder Jamie Anderson, luger Chris Mazdzer, and former ice skater Tonya Harding will also be appearing.

Norman admits to not being much of a dancer. But he thinks his drive and work ethic will be able to take him far in the competition.

“I think the drive of not giving up and wanting to win when the circumstances look down,” Norman said of what NFL skills translate to the dance floor (via ESPN). “Trying to stay on top and a great work ethic. The work ethic is the main thing.”

He’ll be partnered up with Sharna Burgess who also danced with Antonio Brown last year. If he doesn’t win, he’ll likely hear about it from Brown and some of the show's past winners, Emmitt Smith, Hines Ward, Donald Driver and Rashad Jennings.
