The New York Giants parted with two of their more notable players on both sides of the ball this offseason. It seems there is no love lost between Big Blue and Washington Redskins safety Landon Collins.

Odell Beckham has not been shy about expressing his distaste with the Giants' organization. Collins took his turn 106.7 The Fan by not even mentioning them by name:

“I have something to play for, just within myself, because I haven't finished the last two years,” Collins said. “For that reason and just knowing what I can do, and the struggles I've been through with the other team I was on, I know I can be better.”

The hosts on the show were not shy about asking which team Collins was referring to; however, it was to no avail.

“You didn't say their name,” he pointed out. “Was that intentional?”

“It's no point,” Collins said. “It's no point in saying their name”.

It is safe to say that the Giants had some problems ending their relationship on good terms with former star players. Beckham did not hold back on the issues plaguing the organization. Now Collins has added fuel to the fire by forgoing even the mere mention of the team name.

Collins' frustration is certainly understandable considering he had established himself as one of the most promising, young defensive players in the league in New York. Unfortunately, he and the front office were unable to come to terms on a lucrative payday for him.

Regardless, Collins' comments should lend even more intrigue to this NFC East matchup. He has already acknowledged his excitement at squaring off against his former team.
