Despite a brilliant performance in a 111-102 Christmas Day loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, shooting guard J.J. Redick has become the latest to join Chris Paul and Blake Griffin in the L.A. Clippers sideline with a sore left hamstring, according to the Associated Press.

Redick tied for a game-high 22 points after playing for only three quarters, leaving after 26 minutes of court action.

“I would describe it as mild, day-to-day thing,” Redick said after losing to the Lakers. “It could be a day, could be seven. I don't know.”

The Clippers now find themselves three starters short as they face the Denver Nuggets on Monday, and although no official decision has been made on Redick's availability, it is a safe bet to say he's likely to sit out as hamstring injuries can linger if not healed properly.

The team is already without its leading scorer, Griffin (right knee surgery) and Paul, who has a strained left hamstring of his own. Paul was scheduled to start against the Lakers, but felt discomfort prior to the game which forced him to sit out through the festivities.

Paul has missed the last two games after sustaining his injury in a win over the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday, but appeared ready to play after a successful workout during Saturday's practice. However, he's likely a scratch against the Nuggets for precautionary reasons.

“Chris said that after talking to the doctors before the game, it was decided that he would miss the next two games,” said head coach Doc Rivers. “We're going thru a tough stretch right now and need to play better regardless of injuries.”

The Clippers have lost three of their last five games, including their last two. They'll hope to get regain their winning ways against the Nuggets, despite their injury shortcomings. The Clips have won six of their last seven games against the Nuggets, winning by an average of 10 points.
