Regardless of who wins Game 7, LeBron James has been the clear-cut MVP of the NBA Finals so far. The last two games have been some of the very best of his career, exerting his will onto an incredibly talented Warriors team and coming out on top both times.

Heading into Game 5, there was dread regarding the Cavs‘ window to win a title. Now, they're one win away from securing the city of Cleveland's first professional sports championship since 1964.

Even as LeBron's relationship with his native city seems stronger than ever, there are apparently a number of NBA teams who believe he won't stay in northeast Ohio for good.

According to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski, various NBA teams believe LeBron will leave Cleveland again, in time. From Woj:

Franchises are on watch again, believing nothing’s forever in Northeast Ohio. Sooner or later, there’s a belief that James comes into play again, a line of thinking that his inner circle has done nothing to dissuade.

James will likely stay with the Cavs for at least a few more years, but given that he left back in 2010 and his contract that will once again allow him to opt out and become a free agent this summer, there is a fear in the back of the minds of Clevelanders that LeBron will take his talents elsewhere again.

It's interesting that this report comes out now, when LeBron is solely focused on winning a championship for Cleveland. The last thing he's thinking about at a time like this is leaving his city and the teammates he has built such a strong bond with.

Regardless of what happens on Sunday night at Oracle, expect James to at least sign another two-year deal with a player option to stay with the Cavaliers. From there, it's anybody's guess.
