The injuries have become seemingly unavoidable for the Golden State Warriors down the home stretch of this season.

Last night it was young guard Patrick McCaw suffering a scary fall after Vince Carter undercut him inadvertently going up to the basket. McCaw was left writhing on the ground in pain with anyone who saw the injury fearing the worst.

It seems there is some good news with the latest update on the injury.

This is positive in the short-term but we won't know more until the MRI is performed today. The Warriors are hoping it's not too bad of an injury and McCaw is potentially able to return by the playoffs.

This is just another on a long list of injuries the Warriors have been dealing with of late. They've seen injuries to all four of their All-Stars, including most notable Stephen Curry who is likely to be out until after the first round of the playoffs.

The defending champs need to get healthy if they're going to be able to take down teams like the Houston Rockets and the McCaw injury is just another obstacle for them.
