Resident Evil Village came out Friday, May 7th, 2021. A few days may have already been enough for most of you to finish Capcom's latest best-seller. If so, then you might be ready for the game's New Game+. But you can't find it anywhere! Where is Resident Evil Village‘s New Game+, you ask? Well, you've come to the right place.

How to start Resident Evil Village NG+

First off, New Game+ only unlocks after you've finished the game at least once. The game will unlock the New Game+ mode regardless of which difficulty you first finished the game on. Hence, you can start on the lowest difficulty and then finish off NG+ on Hardcore. But some of you might miss out where the option to start an NG+. After all, the game doesn't give it out to you in an obvious way. It's not going to be on the main menu when you boot up the game after finishing it once. So how exactly do you start NG+?

To start Resident Evil Village‘s NG+, you'll have to load your save. The save right before the last boss. You'll remember that the game will ask you to save right after you finish the game once. Choose that save file. Once it loads, the game will ask if you want to start New Game+. Choose yes, and voila! Welcome to Survival Horror.
