With a number of teams still looking for a new head coach, NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins is furious that Mark Jackson can't even get an interview.

Perkins vented his frustrations out on Twitter, calling it “ridiculous” that Jackson hasn't even received an interview invite from NBA teams.

The likes of Stan Van Gundy, Tom Thibodeau, and Tyronn Lue have filled in the head coaching post of the New Orleans Pelicans, New York Knicks, and the Los Angeles Clippers respectively. Jeff Van Gundy, Jackson's commentating partner alongside Mike Breen, is the leading candidate to be the Rockets' head coach.

Like most fans, Perkins seems puzzled at the fact that Jackson — who has had some previous coaching experience like those mentioned above — is being snubbed by teams still on the hunt for a head coach. Even Steve Nash — a great player in his own right but doesn't have coaching experience — was recently hired by the Brooklyn Nets.

To recall, Jackson coached the Golden State Warriors from 2011 to 2014. In three seasons, he guided the Dubs to two playoff appearances, making it as far as the Conference Semis in 2013. Back then, the Warriors already had Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

After he left, Steve Kerr took over the job and essentially turned the Warriors into a dynasty. Critics believe that this is the stain in Mark Jackson's resume. He already had great pieces at his disposal but failed to utilize them. However, others believe that Jackson's tenure was a critical part of the Warriors' development.
