Both Rob Gronkowski and Floyd Mayweather are have cash that can carry over for generations if spent properly. Unfortunately, both athletes may have to fork over some of that money if this next story leads them down the wrong road. false advertising due to one of their latest endorsers ending up in court.

Both Gronk and Mayweather, according to the New York Post, are heading to court along with Snow Teeth Whitening LLC in response to Burton Kraus claiming that the teeth-whitening company is ultimately a fraud. Kraus plans to sue all three parties for $5 million, claiming the product is “cheap” and “ineffective.”

Rob Gronkowski and Floyd Mayweather might have seen the documents obtained by the New York Post:

The suit alleges that the defendants “unjustifiably charge over a hundred dollars more than arguable comparable products” based on “false claims that the lights they sell to consumers will dramatically improve the whitening power and antiviral or antiseptic qualities” of the accompanying serum.

Both Rob Gronkowski and Floyd Mayweather have been seen over the past few years repeatedly endorsing the teeth-whitening business. The product itself apparently sells for $199 at retail price.

For Rob Gronkowski, all it takes is a simple YouTube search to find the 31-year old tight end dancing in a commercial for Snow Teeth Whitening.

Whatever the result of the case may be, both stars will have to put their court settlings on hold now as they enter some critical moments in their respective careers. Mayweather is set to take on Logan Paul in February in an exhibition match. Meanwhile, Rob Gronkowski is trying to help the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they plan for the upcoming playoffs.

The Buccaneers' recent win over the Minnesota Vikings — combined with the NFL's expansion of each conference's playoff field to seven teams – means Rob Gronkowski should be collecting extra playoff paychecks.

He might need them, though he hopes he won't have to dip into them for any legal penalties.
