LaVar Ball have been making a lot of headlines the past several months for his absurd comments and actions that leave a lot of people shaking their heads, but a recent testament to his admirable act may change how the public should perceive him.
No less than Los Angeles Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka confirmed, via The Herd podcast with Colin Cowherd, that he saw Ball train young kids at 8 a.m., prepare breakfast for them, and even called everyone by their first names, which goes to show the kind of relationship he has with the youth, and that he’s been doing it for a long time now.
After all the negative comments and trolling made against LaVar Ball on social media, Pelinka’s story is definitely something that came unexpectedly. Not a lot of people even thought of hearing that kind of actions to be done by Ball, especially with how he has carried himself during TV and radio appearances.
However, it proves that he may be different when away from the spotlight and the media. It also leaves many thinking that everything could just be an act for him, and now that he already got his wish of seeing Lonzo Ball being drafted by the Lakers, he is slowly returning to his real ways, and to his old self.
Maybe all these explain LaVar Ball's scene with some kids at the NBA Draft.
