Chris Paul and P.J. Tucker of the Houston Rockets went right back to work right after their heartbreaking loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.

As per Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle, after their 121-116 loss at home, Paul said that he wanted to get up some practice shots and do some cardio.

Paul, in just his second game back from a hamstring injury, scored 10 points in 26 minutes of play. He was 4-of-9 from the field and 1-of-5 from downtown. Tucker, for his part, just had nine points in 37 minutes of play and was 3-of-12 from the field and 2-of-9 from downtown. As a team, the Rockets just shot 33.9 percent from downtown.

Paul and Tucker's post-game workouts mirror the same efforts exerted by James Harden earlier on. Reports reveal that the main key for his scoring outburst in the month of January was because the reigning MVP was putting in extra work.

In practice sessions, Harden reportedly came in early do some lifting and right before the film sessions, he does some cardio. And after practice, he joined Gerald Green, Danuel House Jr., and P.J. Tucker for some one-on-one duels.

Harden's efforts paid off as he notched scoring records along the way. From a team perspective, he carried the Rockets from one of the bottomfeeders in the West to safely within the playoff picture.

Now that Paul and Tucker have decided to put in some extra work, we just might see the Rockets team — the team which was just a game away from the NBA Finals last year — come alive this season.
