Houston Rockets guard Danuel House Jr.'s personal life has definitely taken a hit following his exit from the NBA bubble at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida on Friday. The 27-year-old swingman became the first player banished from the bubble after violating the league's strict COVID-19 health protocols.

House reportedly entertained an unauthorized female guest in the Rockets’ team hotel for multiple hours. While players are permitted to have authorized visitors in their room, House allegedly spent time with the COVID-19 tester when he wasn't allowed to.

Making the situation even grimmer for House was the fact that he is a married man.

House’s wife, Whitney, understandably reacted poorly following news of his husband's infidelity.  One Twitter user posted an interesting note shared by Whitney on her private Instagram account. Whitney also reportedly already deleted all photos of his husband from her account.

Danuel House, meanwhile, has been a serviceable 3-and-D player for the Rockets throughout the season. The 6-foot-7 winger has been great off the bench for Houston and has been one of their most reliable defenders in the postseason. He notched 11.4 points, 5.8 boards and 1.4 dimes in nine playoff games.

The Rockets initially ruled out House in Game 3 against the Los Angeles Lakers citing “personal reasons”. The situation became clearer prior to Game 4, when multiple reporters caught wind of House's violation and inevitable punishment.

The Rockets, meanwhile, currently need all the help they can get after losing their last three games against the Purple and Gold. They are only one loss away from elimination, and losing House only hurts their chances even more.
