Jose Mourinho's first season at Roma ended up being a smashing success with the Italian side managing to win the UEFA Conference League. After their 1-0 victory in the final against Feyenoord, Mourinho addressed the speculation regarding his future at the club amid rumors that he may be lured away. ‘The Chosen One' adamantly shut down any such rumor with his comments after the win, resolutely pledging his future to Roma.

Mourinho declared once and for all that he's here at Roma to stay. The project he started isn't complete, despite their success in the UEFA Conference League, and now he'll look to push on to bigger challenges at the club.

It was certainly a bumpy road at Roma for Mourinho, including lowlights such as a historically humiliating 6-1 defeat to Norwegian side Bødo/Glimt. The side persevered in the end, however, rallying to come out on top as champions of that very same competition.

After being ousted at Tottenham following a short stint, Mourinho has proven he still has what it takes to bring trophies to top clubs with his work at Roma. And while some may have expected him to consider leaving for a bigger project, Mourinho expressed his commitment to continuing on in Italy's top flight.

Roma has secured Europa League qualification for next season after finishing sixth in Serie A with 63 points. The squad won 18 games, tied 9, and lost 11 on the year, finishing just one point behind fifth-placed Lazio in the league, and 7 points behind Juventus, who claimed the final Champions League qualification spot for Serie A clubs, joining Napoli, Inter Milan, and AC Milan.
