Roma will be competing for European glory after all. The Italian side, which Jose Mourinho took over at the start of the season following his departure from Tottenham Hotspur, has capped off an incredible run in the UEFA Conference League by clinching their ticket to the final with a win over Leicester City on Thursday. Manager Jose Mourinho was overcome with emotion in the concluding moments of the 1-0 victory and couldn't hold back the tears as his Roma squad earned its spot against Feyenoord in the final.

It's certainly been an up-and-down season for Roma. Lowlights were as pitiful as their 6-1 defeat to Norwegian side FK Bødo/Glimt, but they turned it all around in order to reach the final, and you can see how much it meant to ‘The Special One.'

Former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has come into his own under Mourinho and the two have developed a special bond while at Roma. Abraham, who found himself outside of the Chelsea first-team looking in, joined Roma in the summer. He's since gone on to score 15 goals in 34 matches in the Serie A this season.

Mourinho is one of the most controversial managers in all of the sport, but if anything's clear about the Portuguese coach, it's that his commitment to winning is unparalleled. He's one of the most successful coaches in football history, and he now has a chance to add another trophy to his resume after Roma's run through the tournament.

While it may not be the Champions League, Mourinho has poured his heart and soul into improving this Roma side. After the team achieved its goal of reaching the final, the world-renowned manager was unable to hold back his emotions.
