The Baltimore Ravens are not messing around with their contract-year players. Just weeks after signing CB Marlon Humphrey to a big-money extension, the Ravens have now moved on to left tackle Ronnie Stanley, who reportedly just put pen to paper on a massive five-year extension worth a whopping $112.9 million.

This report comes via NFL.com's Ian Rapaport:

As the tweet above indicated, only $70.9 million of the deal is guaranteed, which is still one of the biggest contracts in the league right now. Stanley is set to earn $19.8 million per year on his new deal, which makes him the second-highest paid tackle in the entire NFL. Talk about a big-money contract, right?

Stanley, a first-team All-Pro last season, has not allowed a single sack in five appearances for the Ravens this season. The 26-year-old is a key piece for the Ravens' roster, and team general manager Eric DeCosta has rewarded Stanley handsomely for all of his hard work. He is now locked with the team until 2025.

Baltimore has clearly had more than a few bags lying around for its players. The Ravens also signed Humphrey to a similar five-year extension worth $98.8 million early this month. Clearly, Baltimore is wasting no time in securing their long-term future.

The 5-1 Ravens are coming off a three-game winning streak, following their 30-28 victory against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. They hope to keep the streak alive when they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers next. This should be a good opportunity for Stanley to start providing his employer with some return on their substantial investment.
