The Rainbow Six Operations League SEA 2022 – Summer is underway! Check out this Primer for everything you need to know about RSOL SEA 2022.

The RSOL SEA 2022 – Summer was announced on Monday, May 23, which pits the best teams across the SEA region – including Taiwan, Thailand, Malyasia, Singapore, The Philippines, and Indonesia. This tournament integrates the National Operation Leagues of each region into a single mega tournament with a $15,000 prize pool.

This year, a total of eight teams will compete – six of which will be the top two teams from Operation League Taiwan, Thailand, and MY/SG/PH/ID from last season. These six teams will be invited directly into the new competition and will be joined by two more teams who will be selected through the upcoming Open Qualifier. Registration for the Open Qualifier starts from today until June 5, 2022. The Open Qualifiers start out on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

With this new arrangement, Ubisoft aims to bring thrilling and rich competitive content to the fans and to establish a new integrated competition structure for the players to make their mark on the international stage. Moving forward, the SEA Championship will no longer be held and a point-based qualification system from the new Rainbow Six Operation League Southeast Asia 2022 will be implemented to determine the invites for APAC's relegation.

As mentioned above, some teams are already directly seeded for the RSOL SEA 2022 event. These teams are:
