Sacramento Kings forward Rudy Gay and the team’s Vice President for Basketball Operations Vlade Divac released curious statements recently.

It started when Gay said some things about the uncertainty of the team’s direction, or at least how it appeared to him. Then Divac followed suit by putting things, and his player’s expectations, in perspective.

The latest in this royal mini-saga has the veteran small-forward clearing things up with the team official. He shared his thoughts to Sean Cunningham of abc10.com.

I have talked to Vlade. I can't say since Monday stuff has changed, but I just feel like we have a little bit of time to start changing things.

At this point in my career I just want to be happy. I talked to Vlade and we're trying to make that happen.

Does that throw hints at a potential trade involving Rudy Gay? There’s no telling, but it won’t be surprising either if he, once again, gets shipped to a new address.
