Russell Westbrook will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer one day whenever he decides to retire from the NBA. He's the only player in NBA history to average a triple-double in three consecutive years. That's something you usually only see in video games.

Westbrook has career NBA averages of 23.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 8.3 assists in 874 games with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets. He won the 2017 regular season MVP award and is a nine-time NBA All-Star.

Russell Westbrook hasn't been able to win a championship yet, but he's had some incredibly talented teammates over the years. For this piece, we'll be listing the best teammates The Brodie has had since entering the NBA back in 2008 as the fourth overall pick.

PG: Dennis Schroder

Dennis Schroder was Russell Westbrook's backup for one season. He averaged 15.5 points and 4.1 assists during the 2018-19 campaign.

Schroder and Westbrook developed a good friendship during their one year as teammates. They exchanged some NSFW pleasantries in the Thunder locker room during the 2019-20 season, which was all fun and games of course.

OKC traded Westbrook to the Rockets in the summer of 2019 for Chris Paul, ending Russ' legendary run with the Thunder.

SG: James Harden

Russell Westbrook and James Harden were teammates for three years in Oklahoma City before reuniting in Houston for the 2019-20 campaign.

Before games were suspended due to COVID-19, Harden and Westbrook were averaging a combined 61.9 points per game. That's the type of production you get when you pair two MVPs.

Harden was averaging 34.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 7.4 assists in 2019-20. Westbrook, meanwhile, was putting up 27.5 points, 8.0 boards and 7.0 dimes.

SF: Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were teammates for eight seasons. They were one of the most explosive dynamic duos in the NBA during their time together.

Unfortunately, KD and Russ were never able to win a title in OKC. Durant wound up leaving the Thunder in the summer of 2016 to sign with the Golden State Warriors. The two superstars reportedly weren't on speaking terms for the entire 2016-17 season before patching things up in the summer of 2017.

Durant averaged 28.4 points while Westbrook was his teammate.

PF: Serge Ibaka

Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka shared the same locker room for seven seasons. Serge finished his Thunder career with averages of 11.6 points and 7.4 boards.

OKC general manager Sam Presti chose to trade Harden before the start of the 2012-13 season. In hindsight, he should have just paid Harden and kept Durant, Westbrook, Harden and Ibaka together.

C: Steven Adams

Russell Westbrook and Steven Adams got closer after Durant left for the Warriors. The Big Kiwi became Russ' protector when other teams would try and mess with him.

Adams averaged 9.7 points and 7.4 rebounds during the six seasons he played with Westbrook.
