One of the most remarkable moments of the 2017 NFL season was undoubtedly the “Minneapolis Miracle” that occurred during the playoffs between the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints. Needless to say, running back Alvin Kamara is not particularly fond of how the Saints' season ended.

Even now, players involved have had a difficult time explaining the situation. However, according to Bleacher Report's Master Tesfatsion, Kamara did not mince words when it came to discussing the play:

“It’s a certain point where you f–king just do everything could do, and s–t still don’t go your way,” Kamara said. “That’s how I felt about that game. I felt like we did everything. We came all the way back, and then s–t just happened like that. That’s like some one-in-a-million-type s–t.

“I couldn’t even be mad. I was mad, of course, but it was like how does that even f–king happen? That’s not even real. It’s almost not realistic, like what the f–k?”

It is easy to see why Kamara is still frustrated to this day. New Orleans had played exceptionally well and virtually had the game in the bag before the play happened. If they win that game, there is no telling how the rest of the postseason would have played out.

For Kamara, it was a bitter end to a stellar rookie campaign. He established himself as one of the most promising, young playmakers in the NFL thanks to his versatile skill set s both a runner and receiver. He finished the year with 728 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground while hauling in 81 receptions for 826 yards and five touchdowns through the air en route to a trip to the Pro Bowl. That said, Kamara and the Saints are hoping to re-establish the momentum they had in the playoffs to help them finish the job this time around.
