New Orleans Saints defensive lineman Cameron Jordan had himself a heck of a performance against the Atlanta Falcons on Thanksgiving, coming away with four sacks in a 26-18 win.

That brought Jordan's regular-season sack total to 13.5, establishing a new career high for the pass rusher with four games to go, which Deuce Windham of The Athletic pointed out.

To go along with his NFL-leading sack total, Jordan has logged 44 tackles and a fumble recovery this season.

Jordan, who played his collegiate football at the University of California, was originally selected by the Saints in the first round (24th pick overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft.

He played in all 16 games during his rookie campaign, finishing with 31 tackles and a sack. The following year, Jordan broke out, posting 67 tackles, eight sacks, three forced fumbles and a couple of fumble recoveries, and in 2013, he had his first double-digit sack season, totaling 47 tackles, 12.5 sacks, a pair of forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

The 30-year-old has now registered double-digit sack campaigns in three straight years and appears to be well on his way to his third consecutive Pro Bowl appearance. Last season, Jordan racked up 49 tackles, 12 sacks and six passes defended. He also earned a First-Team All-Pro selection back in 2017 after recording 62 tackles, 13 sacks and 11 passes defended.

With the victory over the Falcons, New Orleans improved to 10-2 on the season and clinched its third straight NFC South division title.

But, as Drew Brees said after the game, the Saints have bigger fish to fry moving forward, as they are not just content with winning division crowns: they want a Super Bowl.

New Orleans will host the San Francisco 49ers in a pivotal showdown on Dec. 8.
