The New Orleans Saints are a team being heavily mentioned lately in speculative trade rumors revolving around Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown.

The Saints' offense being “sick” would be an understatement. New Orleans is right there in regards to reaching the Super Bowl, and the last two seasons have proven they have just had bad breaks. Quarterback Drew Brees is still an elite player and the offense has running back Alvin Kamara and wide receiver Michael Thomas, two of the league's bright young stars. If the Saints are comfortable with trading picks to Pittsburgh for Brown, it could pay off incredibly.

New Orleans is such a complete team that they likely won't draft any players this season or next to truly decide their fate. Considering the team's current roster is so elite, the picks they trade to Pittsburgh would likely be late picks, and a player like Brown could help them capitalize on the strength of their current roster.

New Orleans has been within arms reach of a Super Bowl trophy, but unfortunate circumstances have hindered their chances. Brown is a top player at his position, if not the best at his position, but his time with the Steelers has reached a bitter end.

Some teams could be turned off by the way he is handling the current situation, but there's no secret he can help any team win. The offseason will be interesting to keep track of going forward, and Brown will be closely watched by inquiring teams.
