Following much of sitting on the open market, former Pro Bowl wide receiver Dez Bryant has found a new home in the NFL signing for the rest of the 2018 season with the New Orleans Saints this week.
Bryant officially inked the deal with the team on Thursday where he has officially put on his gear for the team that he showed his excitement through a social media post on Instagram by his new teammate Mark Ingram.

Dez Bryant is entering a potentially fruitful situation with the New Orleans Saints where he could be a major factor in the passing game having the opportunity to play next to Pro Bowl wideout Michael Thomas while star quarterback Drew Brees will throw the ball to him. The team is also loaded with talent in the backfield with their dynamic running back duo of Ingram and Alvin Kamara. This presents a huge chance for him to not only prove he can be a key part of a winning team but also that he has plenty left in the tank to play at a high level.
There hasn’t been any questioning that Bryant is still a talented player at his position, but rather that he had trouble performing on the field he previously did. He has had three straight seasons posting fewer than 1,000 receiving yards while there were doubts creeping in that he can no longer separate from defenders like he once did.
All of this chatter could be used as additional fuel for him to push through to show he can recapture his previous Pro Bowl form that established him as one of the premier wideouts in the league. It is now all on his shoulders to prove that if he not only wants to extend his NFL career but also earn that lucrative contract next offseason.
