Jamal Adams is going to be part of a podcast titled 17 Weeks in 2020, which is a source of entertainment featuring players in the NFL and their experiences during the season. During the second episode of the 2020 season, the All-Pro safety of the Seattle Seahawks shared he believes Russell Wilson is the “best” player he's ever seen (via Adams on Twitter).

The series of podcasts that Adams will be a part of is in its second season and is hosted by Nate Burleson. This year's cast of players will feature—besides Adams—Eric Ebron and Emmanuel Sanders.

In the second week of the season, the Seahawks squared off against the New England Patriots on “Sunday Night Football.” While Seattle would edge out New England for a victory, Wilson led the way with five passing touchdowns.

After tossing five touchdowns versus the Patriots, Wilson now has 610 passing yards, nine touchdowns, and one interception so far this season. Given his efforts thus far, Wilson has supplanted Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson as the favorite to win NFL MVP in 2020.

As for Adams, seeing that he played with the New York Jets before joining the Seahawks, he hasn't had a potent offense before. Therefore, the versatile safety is new to having a quarterback like Wilson that is able to put up points in bunches.

Still, while everyone raves about Mahomes and Jackson, Wilson is one of the most lethal passers the NFL has to offer. It's one thing to say that Wilson is one of the best quarterbacks in the league right now. But the two-time Pro Bowl safety took it a step further, saying Wilson is the best he's ever seen—on and off of the field.
