Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner will play in his team's game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, according to a team announcement.

Wagner sustained an ankle injury during Seattle's win over the Carolina Panthers last weekend, but there is no injury designation for Wagner in the Seahawks' latest injury report. He did not participate on Wednesday and Thursday.

On the season, Wagner has racked up 139 tackles, a couple of sacks, an interception, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and six passes defended en route to his sixth straight Pro Bowl selection.

The 29-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Utah State, was originally selected by Seattle in the second round (47th pick overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft.

It didn't take long for Wagner to stamp his name among the best defensive players in football, as he totaled 139 tackles and a pair of sacks during his rookie campaign and followed that up by registering 154 tackles and five sacks in 2013.

Oddly enough, Wagner did not make his first Pro Bowl appearance until 2014, when he finished with 135 tackles and two sacks. He also notched first-team All-Pro honors that season.

Overall, Wagner has earned four first-team All-Pro selections and currently has a streak of three consecutive selections going. He also led the league with 168 tackles back in 2016.

The Seahawks are 11-3 on the year and sit in first place in the NFC West. After taking on the Cardinals this weekend, they will host the San Francisco 49ers in a matchup that could decide the division in Week 17.
