Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner has put together a great 2018 campaign, which has helped him be graded as the top player at his position thus far this season by Pro Football Focus.

The Seahawks continue to play their best football of the season after winning their fourth straight game by knocking off the Minnesota Vikings earlier in the week.

One of the biggest reasons for the recent success has been the play of the Seattle defense, as Wagner and company held the San Francisco 49ers to 16 points in Week 13 before holding the Vikings to just seven points in primetime.

And Wagner's production and leadership at linebacker has earned him high praise from Pro Football Focus.

That's some pretty good company to be a part of, and there's no doubt that Wagner has been a huge difference maker for the Seahawks this season.

He has been a part of 107 combined tackles while forcing two fumbles and notching one interception through 13 games. That type of stat line has caused serious issues for opposing offenses, and that bodes well for Seattle's hopes of returning to the playoffs.

The Seahawks now sit at 8-5 on the season, and while they no longer have a shot at an NFC West title thanks to the fantastic season from the Los Angeles Rams, Pete Carroll's group is in great shape to make the postseason.

Seattle will try to take another step in the right direction this weekend when it takes on the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium.
