The Madden 99-club is always fun to watch. Which players will make the exclusive cut and which will just barely miss.

It appears the NFC West is stacking up in the club nicely, as another player joins the list. First, there was Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams ā€“ now there's Bobby Wagner of the Seattle Seahawks.

Bobby Wagner is one of the most underrated players in the NFL when it comes to fan recognition. The Seattle Seahawks middle linebacker has recorded over 100 tackles in all seven of his NFL seasons. In 2016, he recorded a career-best 167 and followed that up with 133 and 138 respectively.

2018 might have been his best all-around year though. Those 138 tackles were accompanied by one sack, two forced fumbles, and one interception (which he took 98 yards for a touchdown).

Wagner also posted five tackles for loss and a career-high 11 pass deflections.

In short, the linebacker did everything at an exceptionally high level and is definitely deserving of a ridiculously high rating in Madden 20.

Of course, 99 overall ratings are always going to be controversial though. It's the highest rating a player can get in the game, so some people believe only one person should get it. Or no one at all as it makes it appear as if the player has no flaws.

Despite that, anyone would agree that Wagner is deserving of being one of the highest rated players in the game.

Now the only question left is, who else will be joining Bobby Wagner (and Aaron Donald) in the illustrious 99-overall club this year?
