Future Hall of Fame running back Adrian Peterson has signed with the Seattle Seahawks. Peterson has been signed to the Seahawks practice squad.

This made sense for Seattle as they are dealing with some injuries to their running backs. Throughout his career, Adrian Peterson has been one of the best running backs in recent history. He's a former MVP winner who has accumulated over 14,000 yards and is nearing 15,000 throughout his career. He had his best season in 2012 where he rushed for over 2,000 yards and had 12 touchdowns.

Seattle has had nothing short of a disappointing season this year as they are 3-8. They're currently on a three-game losing streak including being shut out to the Green Bay Packers 3 weeks ago. Adrian Peterson obviously isn't going to solve all of their problems at his current age. He could be somebody who is serviceable and help open up the offense for a struggling Seahawks' offense.

It's going to be an interesting season for the rest of the year. Seattle clearly has plenty of things that they need to address for the next few seasons. Russell Wilson doesn't look like the guy for the job anymore. If Seattle wants to be any bit competitive in the next few years, they might need to think about letting go of the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

Seattle will take on a tough San Francisco 49ers team in Week 13. It might be in their best interest to continue losing games to secure a high draft pick.
