After being signed by the Seattle Seahawks earlier in the month, veteran defensive tackle Damon “Snacks” Harrison is set to make his debut for his new team. This has gotten more than a few folks excited, but perhaps none more than new teammate Jarran Reed.

At 6-foot-3 and 306 pounds, Reed is by no means a small man. But even he has been in awe of Harrison, who himself is 6-foot-3 and 350 pounds. So much so, that Reed described Harrison simply as  “a very large person. Very large.” (h/t Lauren Smith of The Olympian)

It's not all about size and brute strength for “Snacks”, though. As Reed described, he's also looking forward to what the tested veteran is going to bring to the table for the Seahawks:

“Somebody who knows the game, knows what’s going on,” Reed said of Harrison's strengths.

Harrison hasn't played in the league since December of last year with the Detroit Lions, so at the moment, fitness is still a slight concern for the 31-year-old. It has yet to be determined when Harrison will actually make his debut, but he's definitely getting close. For his part, Reed clearly just can't wait:

“It’s good playing with Poona (Ford),” he said. “Playing with ‘Snacks’ just adds another boost of confidence.”

The Seahawks next take the field on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. If all goes according to plan, then Harrison might just make his much-anticipated debut for his new squad.
