The Seattle Seahawks acquired former Detroit Lions defensive back Quandre Diggs midway through last season, a move that helped the NFC West franchise once again return to the postseason. Now settled in Seattle, Diggs couldn't be happier about being a member of the Seahawks with the 2020-21 campaign looming.

“When I came in midseason, it was like thrown into the fire, which is totally fine with me,” Diggs recently told 710 ESPN’s Danny and Gallant. “But being able to train and being able to prepare my mind and go into that atmosphere, that environment and just play ball, you know, it’s dope.”

Once again making a splash in the defensive backfield this offseason, the Seahawks will now pair Diggs with former Washington Redskins cornerback Quinton Dunbar, who was also acquired by Seattle via trade.

“I talked to [Quinton] a little bit last week,” Diggs added. “He’s excited to be there. He’s excited to be a part of the secondary to help us put together a good year. Add him to the secondary, it’s going to be fun. I like Q’s game. He’s a former receiver so you know he sees the game a different way – he sees it through the offensive lens.”

The Seahawks will need all of the defensive help that the team can get moving forward, though, as the Los Angeles Rams, Arizona Cardinals and defending NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers all still play in the always dangerous NFC West division. Not only that, but each of these franchises seem to have already added some lethal weapons this offseason.
