When you think about the best quarterbacks of all time, who comes to mind? Tom Brady, Joe Montana, Drew Brees and Peyton Manning are four guys that stand out, but what will it take before Seattle Seahawks superstar Russell Wilson starts getting mentioned in that conversation?

Wilson has already established himself as one of the premier quarterbacks in the NFL. He is one of a few players that can elevate an average team and turn them into Super Bowl contenders.

At only 5'11” Wilson is undersized for a quarterback, yet he consistently finds a way to not let that affect his performance on the field. In fact, Wilson finds a way to improve every year.

How does he do this? Through his never-ending quest for knowledge, and desire to be the best.

Former NFL MVP, and now TV, analyst Kurt Warner offers his expertise to all young quarterbacks every year. He reaches out and tells them that if they ever need advice or guidance that his line is open. Although it's rare that players actually reach out, Wilson does.

“What’s impressive about Russ is, he’s reaching out and calling,” said Warner, via Adam Jude in the Seattle Times. “He is already great, and you might think there’s no need to ask for help, but that speaks to his humility and desire to want to be great. I’ve enjoyed the heck out of it.”

Warner may not be too thrilled to see Wilson go up against his Los Angeles Rams on Wild Card weekend, but it's always great to see the torch being passed down from generation to generation.

It will only be a matter of time before Russell Wilson is being discussed as one of the best quarterbacks to ever do it.
