The Seattle Seahawks are 8-2 on the season. Naturally, that means their next win gives them at least 9 wins on the year and guarantees a winning season in 2019.

That would mark something highly significant. With the win, the Seahawks would now have a winning record in each year since the start of Wilson's career. That's eight straight seasons.

According to Brandon Gustafson of MyNorthwest.com, eight straight seasons with a winning record to start a career would be, well a record, for a quarterback.

It really should come as no surprise that Wilson is already the winningest quarterback in Seattle franchise history.

Since joining the league, Wilson has done nothing but win. Drafted in the third-round in 2012, Wilson immediately won the starting job.

In that time, Wilson has 28,361 passing yards on a 64.6 completion percentage. He's also thrown 219 touchdown passes compared to 65 interceptions and has another 3,907 rushing yards and 19 rushing touchdowns.

Unsurprisingly, those incredible numbers have led to a lot of wins. Wilson is 83-38-1 as a starter. He has gotten the Seahawks to the playoffs every year so far except 2017 (they still went 9-7 that year).

Wilson has also helped the Seahawks win the only Super Bowl in franchise history, and has gotten them back to that game as well.

What's incredible is, this might be the best version of Wilson we've ever seen. In 2019, the quarterback has completed a career-high 68.5% of his passes. He's done so for 2,737 yards and has 23 touchdown passes compared to just two interceptions.

With the Seahawks firing on all cylinders and already at 8-2, this seems like a given. It's hard to imagine a scenario where Seattle does not pick up one more win and Wilson puts himself into the history books once again.
