If there is one thing Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett has learned in his NFL career so far, it's to never give up and to keep going no matter how difficult things are.

On Twitter, Lockett admitted that he went through depression in two of his seven years in the league. Despite going through pain and trauma, though, he kept on playing and found himself delivering career-defining years.

“Moral of the story : Just keep going. You never know what’s waiting on the other side!” Lockett wrote.

Tyler Lockett didn't specify which years did he suffer from depression and trauma. However, it is worth noting that he struggled in his second and third years in the NFL before bouncing back mightily in his fourth season when he made 10 touchdowns–more than the receiving TDs he accumulated in his first three campaigns.

The Seahawks QB has since recorded three straight 1000-yard seasons, averaging roughly nine touchdowns during that span.

At 29 years old, Lockett certainly has been through a lot/ But through it all, he has only grown and improved to become an important part of the Seahawks.

Depression and trauma are not easy to deal with, but as Lockett noted, one has to keep a positive attitude and never stop believing. Furthermore, for those suffering through it, they don't have to take things alone and instead seek help.
