The Seattle Seahawks are coming off of a great Week 1 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. They had a great showing on offense and defense as they won 28-16. Russell Wilson showed that he is still one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL with his excellent performance.

This week, the Seahawks take on the Tennessee Titans. The Titans had a horrendous Week 1 game against the Arizona Cardinals, where they lost 38-13. They were projected to be contenders but struggled to keep up with the Cardinals. This week will be an intriguing matchup between these two teams, as it could reveal which team is a true contender.

Seahawks Week 2 Predictions

4. D.K. Metcalf catches two touchdowns

D.K. Metcalf had a solid first game against the Colts, posting 60 receiving yards and a touchdown. He is one of the top receivers in the league and should have a monster game against the Titans. The Titans had an atrocious defensive performance against the Cardinals, allowing DeAndre Hopkins to go off.

Metcalf should have the same type of success as Hopkins, with no elite corners to lock him up. The defense will also be dealing with Tyler Lockett, which will allow Metcalf to get even more opportunities.

3. Seahawks defense gets three sacks

The Seahawks defense forced a ton of pressure against the Colts. They had three sacks against them and had ten quarterback hits. Last week, the Titans allowed six sacks to the Cardinals in a terrible offensive performance.

The Titans offensive line has been horrible, and the Seahawks need to take advantage.

2. Seahawks win in a one-possession game

While the Titans had a bad Week 1, the Seahawks can not take them for granted. The Titans are still one of the most talented football teams in the league, and this game should come down to the wire. They have insane offensive weapons, including Derrick Henry, Julio Jones, and A.J. Brown.

Although the Titans were blown out, they are primed to bounce back, given the roster's talent.

Russell Wilson had a great Week 1 performance, showing how elite the Seahawks offense is. Wilson only threw for 254 years but had four passing touchdowns. His array of weapons helped him carve up the Colts' defense.

The Titans allowed 38 points in Week 1, and the Seahawks will look to take advantage of their defense. Last week, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray threw for four touchdowns against the Titans' defense. With elite offensive talent against a struggling defense, Wilson and the Seahawks should put up many points, especially in the passing game.

The Seahawks look ready to compete for a playoff spot once again this season. It will be challenging as they are in arguably the toughest division in the NFL. The San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, Cardinals, and Seahawks all won their Week 1 matchup. This division will be tight, but the Seahawks can win it or get into the playoffs as a Wild Card team.

Wilson and the Seahawks have proven time and time again that they can make a playoff run under any circumstances. This game will be an excellent test for how the Seahawks fare against other contenders. The defense will be the key for the Seahawks controlling this game as the Titans are loaded offensively. Look for the Seahawks to pull out a win in a close game.
