Shaka Hislop, who is serving as a soccer analyst for ESPN, sparked concerns among fans after he shockingly collapsed while reporting live ahead of the AC Milan versus Real Madrid friendly on Sunday.

Hislop, who played professionally in Europe (most prominently with Newcastle United and West Ham United) as well as FC Dallas late in his career, was seen stumbling on the pitch before he fell down towards his fellow reporter Dan Thomas.

Of course viewers couldn't help but fear for Hislop's condition, especially since every moment of the incident was seen on live television.

“Much love to Shaka Hislop and all at ESPN tonight. Terrifying to witness. Wishing all stegnth and a speedy return to health for the big man,” Twitter account Men In Blazers wrote.

“Oh my god. Shaka Hislop has just passed out live on the ESPN broadcast of AC Milan vs Real Madrid. Absolutely terrifying. They've just cut to break. Prayers up,” Kyle Bonn of Sporting News shared.

Another fan commented, “Positive thoughts going out to Shaka Hislop. Hoping it's just the heat.” While a second supporter added, “Prayers for Shaka Hislop. He just passed out live on the ESPN broadcast of AC Milan vs Real Madrid…”

Fortunately, according to Dan Thomas' update, Shaka Hislop is “conscious” and that “the medics are looking after him.” ESPN commentator Adrian Healey provided more information on the scary situation, adding that Hislop “has recovered.”

“I didn't see the incident … but I’m sure it was an alarming one. We've been told in definitive terms that he is OK,” Healey furthered during ESPN's broadcast of the match, via The Athletic.

While it has yet to be revealed what caused Hislop's collapse, the important thing is that he's fine. Hopefully, we can see him back sooner rather than later.
