Ben Simmons could have already played his last game in a Philadelphia 76ers uniform. There have already been multiple reports pertaining to the Sixers' efforts in trying to trade away the three-time All-Star following what was another disappointing campaign for Philly.

As it turns out, Simmons could be on his way to California, with the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, and Los Angeles Clippers all emerging as potential landing spots for the 25-year-old (h/t gifdsports on Twitter):

The above report contains a handful of bombshells, with Simmons' ghosting oof Joel Embiid and the Sixers probably taking the top spot here. It is also indicated in the report that Ben has crossed out the Portland Trail Blazers and Toronto Raptors as potential destinations for him via trade.

However, what needs to be discussed here is how Simmons appears to prefer to be traded to “one of the California teams.” The Warriors have already been linked to a swoop for the Australian, so they're probably in pole position right now. However, both the Lakers and Clippers are from California, too, so they should be in the running as well. The Sacramento Kings are technically also a California team, so could they be in the mix too?

What is clear here is that Simmons appears adamant about forcing his way out of Philly. There were previous reports about the Sixers' front office considering doing a U-turn on the Ben Simmons trade, but at this point, it looks like that ship has sailed.
