Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons is starting to become one of the best players in the league. When he was drafted by the Sixers three years ago, a lot of people were seeing him as the successor to LeBron James.

And Simmons' all-around game is proving them right. This season, the All-Star guard is averaging 16.7 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 8.0 assists while shooting an impressive 56 percent from the field.

However, one aspect of his game that is considered a flaw by some is his inability to hit jump shots, especially from the 3-point line.

In a league where 3-point shooting is almost a requirement, Simmons is one of the few players who refuse to follow the trend. However, following their 143-120 win against the Los Angeles Lakers, he said he plans to work on hitting jumpers consistently, but he isn't going to focus on it.

While it is true that Simmons' lack of jump shooting hasn't hurt his game, improving on that aspect could further elevate his game. If he can put up triple-doubles without shooting jumpers, imagine what he could do once he adds that to his offensive arsenal.

Simmons has also stated that he plans to work out with Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson this summer to figure out ways to improve. Magic is one of the best point guards in the history of the NBA, and if he can impart some knowledge and wisdom into Ben, then fans can expect him to become more formidable in the future.
